Prints
Prints are available in sizes from 4x6 to 13x19, larger sizes by
special requests. Prints are produced on advanced ink-jet printers
using genuine Epson papers with Epson Ultrachrome(TM)
pigmented ink for long print life and resistance to print degradation.
Prints can be made on glossy, semi-gloss, and matte papers.
Maximum prints sizes may be limited by the resolution of the digital
file. Minimum photo quality is 150 pixels per inch (PPI), 240 PPI is
good for advanced amateurs, while 300 PPI is professional quality.
For example, an 11x14 inch print at 240 PPI requires a digital file with
8.9 megapixels. That being said a 6 megapixel file can produce a
very nice 13x19 print even though the "rules" are violated a bit!

Film Scanning
35 mm negative films (both color and black and white) and positive
transparencies can be scanned to produce high quality digital
images for further processing. CD's containing scanned images
can be obtained from most mini-labs when films are routinely
processed (the prints are actually made from the digital scans).
Unfortunately, these scans are generally fairly low resolution, but
fine for the 4x6 prints produced by the machine. Typical files are
about 2 megapixels, 1.5 megabyte JPEG files.
Bob Denny Photography provides 2400 dots per inch (dpi) scans
using high resolution Epson flatbed scanners. These scanners can
produce up to a 24 megapixel file, typically about 12-20 megabyte,
uncompressed TIFF files. JPEGs can also be provided. Scanned
images are transferred to the client on CD ROM.
Retouching
Digital files can be "shopped" in various ways to removed
unwanted backgrounds, remove red-eye and facial blemishes from
portraits, adjust image darkness and contrast, and to enhance color.
Photo Restoration
Old family photos that have faded or have been damaged can be
restored using the magic of digital manipulation. Charges for
photo restoration are variable depending on the amount of work
